Featured Pets of the Week

Hershey is a sensitive, sweet girl who is looking for a calm, understanding home where she can continue to build confidence. She can be quite nervous in new or stressful situations and may need slow introductions and patient handling, but once she feels safe, her gentle side shines through. Hershey does well with older, calm dogs and has previously lived peacefully with an older male dog. She isn’t very interested in rough play and would likely prefer a laid-back canine companion or being the only dog. She has been around children in the home and did well with them, showing appropriate behavior. She is house-trained, enjoys going for walks, and settles nicely into a home routine. Cats, however, may not be a good fit.
